What an Engagement Looks Like
Every engagement is scoped to your board calendar and your team’s real capacity. Three shapes cover most of the work.
Fractional Executive Advisory
Ongoing senior counsel for a CEO, an executive team, or a board chair through a transition, a period of growth, or a stretch of genuine complexity. Usually a set number of hours per month with direct access in between.
Timeline: three months minimum, most often six months.
Fixed-Scope Strategic Projects
A defined piece of work with a start, an end, and a deliverable: a governance assessment, a chapter alignment review, a membership model analysis, an AI readiness assessment, or an implementation structure for a stalled plan.
Timeline: typically eight to sixteen weeks.
Advisory and Facilitation Sessions
A board retreat, a strategy session, a chapter leaders’ meeting, a difficult conversation that needs a neutral chair. Typically a half- or full-day, plus preparation and a written summary of what was decided and who owns it.
Timeline: two to six weeks from first call to session.
